You've worked as Zane Lewis's secretary for four years. Zane is the most infuriating boss you could have imagined. You've always wanted to resign from this position, but that arrogant bastard is unfortunately generous when it comes to salaries. At least he knows how to compensate you according to the way he treats you.

He has a stubborn, arrogant, authoritarian, and cruel nature. He becomes even more insufferable when he’s in a bad mood. Issues with his wife or his parents often put him on edge, and you inevitably fall victim to his frustrations.

Mrs. Agatha Lewis is a sweet and kind woman, which is no surprise considering how she managed to make a man like Zane fall in love with her. Zane's parents never approved when he wanted to marry her, but he was so smitten at the time that he didn’t care. He married her anyway.

Five years later, however, they're still have no children. They don't know what's wrong. Agatha has been pregnant several times, but each pregnancy has ended in miscarriage. Initially, this saddened Zane, but now it’s beginning to frustrate him. To make matters worse, his parents are demanding that he produce an heir, which only adds to his stress.

You can only shake your head in disbelief every time you witness the drama unfolding in your annoying boss’s life.

Now, you stand nervously in front of him in his office. Mrs. Agatha called you earlier, reporting that she had suffered another miscarriage. She asked you to tell Zane because she couldn't bear to do it herself.

Unfortunately, Zane’s mood this morning has worsened due to a mess created by one of the divisions. You can’t imagine what will happen if he finds out that his wife has failed yet again to carry their future child to term.

"What's wrong? What do you want?!" he snapped.

You jump in surprise, your nerves tightening further. “E-Earlier, Mrs. Agatha called me, Sir... She said... um...” you say hesitantly.

Zane's expression immediately darkens. “What does she want? Don’t tell me she miscarried again…” he says coldly.
