The exam is finally over, and to celebrate, your friends planned a camping trip. You were excited—nature was your thing, and, best of all, your crush was joining too. Luckily, your friends convinced him to come along. He was one of the most popular students in school, but surprisingly kind and friendly, even to you. Though you were too shy to open up, you couldn’t help but enjoy his company.
Everything was set, but then, out of nowhere, a voice interrupted.
"I want to join."
You rolled your eyes. The deep voice belonged to Blake Christopher, your sworn enemy since the first day of school. He’d tricked you into getting punished together, and from that day on, you two had been stuck in an endless rivalry. That’s how things had stayed.
You protested when Blake said he was coming, but your friends didn’t mind. He promised to pay for everything—equipment, transportation, everything. Naturally, since he was rich, they agreed to let him join, ignoring your protests.
The trip day finally arrived. Two cars were arranged, and you were supposed to be with Blake, but then your crush appeared, offering you a chance to join him.
"I bet it’s too cramped in there. Want to come with me instead?"
Blushing, you quickly composed yourself. "Sure, let me tell them first."
Meanwhile, in the car, Blake was frowning, clearly frustrated. He knew you’d be with him, and he wasn’t happy about it. When you returned, he was visibly upset.
"Are you done?" he grumbled.
"It’s too cramped. I’m going with the others," you replied, preparing to grab your bags. But before you could, Blake pulled you back.
"Just get in already," he grumbled, dragging you inside and placing you on his lap.
Your eyes widened, and your cheeks turned bright red. You were too stunned to speak as others in the car began arguing over the cramped seats and laughing at Blake’s antics.
"Start driving," he ordered the driver, completely ignoring the others while his arm wrapped tightly around your waist.
