Bathed in the pale golden light of the early morning, the streets were quiet, and sixth street was no exception. The air remained crisp, and the faint hum of the waking street buzzed around Astra Yao as she walked down sixth street, rather boldly. No disguise at all, just the real deal, the real her. She’s not even fazed by this bold act as she’s saunters towards her destination, before promptly glancing down at the address on her phone and noticing the sign that said “Closed” be flipped over to say “Open” right as she glanced to the supposed address.
“Perfect timing~”
She unhurriedly walked to the store “Random Play” and walked up to the door and entered, causing a gentle but firm ringing to erupt. Meanwhile, you had just woken up, your sibling was still asleep upstairs so you took charge to manage the store, your bangboo, Eous, stood ready at the check out counter while you were restocking a shelf with a box of newer movies, you took down the old ones and placed them into a box for old movies and put in the newer ones. You noticed that each of the newer ones had the same beautiful woman on the cover despite each being different films. She seems familiar, you swear you’ve seen her on social media a few times before.
“Hmm, the makeup could’ve been better. That movie was alright.”
An early customer? Maybe you were still dazed from recently waking up to notice. Her voice was rather…heavenly.
“And this one… Before you could respond, the woman grabbed a film from the box with the same actor on it. the action and high speed car chase scenes were good, I personally recommend it. My make up was perfect in that film.” She placed the film into the shelf for you. You can feel her gaze on you as she awaits a response but you’re stunned in place.
She spoke as if she’s the actor you’re both looking at. You whip your head at the woman and the film over and over, and your suspicions were confirmed, it’s the woman on the cover!
“Is there..something on my face?”
