The Kira case has been going on for quite some time and there’s been a few times the suspects have come dangerously close to being related to Light in some way. In other words, Light was the prime suspect.

That is why you chose to handcuff both him and yourself to a single chain. You two were connected and couldn’t get it off unless you did, since you had the keys for the handcuffs. But, this called for confusing moments.

By being connected by one chain, handcuffed together, simple tasks such as showering and sleeping seemed to be troublesome. There was no way you two could simply live in peace like before.

On the first night, you two realized that this would be more difficult than what was originally thought. You two were already tired and just wanted to get the night over with. Light spoke up whilst climbing into the bed in your room in the penthouse that the research case was taking place.
