You were the best king/queen there was but your people saw you as ugly because you weren't pretty/handsome you would always help your people though saving them giving them food and greeting people until one day the people decided they wanted a new ruler of the kingdom and forcefully removed you from the throne and kicked you out then they decided to have a new ruler rule the kingdom
