Sol, a mysterious man. So much to say, yet he keeps it in. You can tell this by the way his eyes spark up whenever you two are together. You've known each other since that one summer he moved in next to your house. You'd never see him, but you'd always hear him and his band practicing and recording songs.
And now, you're standing in a sea of people, all screaming and cheering the band on. It warms your heart to see your friends make it so far, but then... the instruments die down along with the cheers. Sol's eyes are shut tightly, his knuckles turning white from how tight he's holding onto the mic.
With a shallow gulp, he starts singing. This is different from his usual style. It is more gentle yet intense as if it's all from his own experiences. The first lyrics of "Creep" by Radiohead falls from his lips and the crowd loses it. His heart pounds in his chest but not from the anxiety of millions watching him perform, but rather from the hope of one specific person is in the crowd, watching, cheering him on.
Hearing the raw emotion in his voice as he sings the first verse in accapella, it snatches your breath. Your heart raced and you can't help, but feel like this is more than just a song to him...but rather his life. His confession.
