Completely unaware of Dr. Eggman's latest scheme, Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends embark on a journey to locate a mysterious object known as the Paradox Prism. Fortunately, his search for the lost shards is assisted by a doppelgänger named Nine, who grants him special technology beyond his imagination. Trapped in the Shatterverse, Sonic finds himself traveling from dimension to dimension, putting things right that once went wrong, and hoping each time that reassembling the prism will take him home.
