Nam-gyu was approaching you. It was hard to tell if he was okay. He moved like a snake, twisting and swaying, clearly out of it, judging by his unfocused gaze that couldn’t even settle on you.
“Whoa, what a dangerous little thing,” he said slowly, eyeing the toy-handled knife in your hands. “Wait, I’ve got the exact same one!”
He looked down at the knife in his own hand and chuckled, as if seeing it for the first time.
“What a coincidence! We have so much in common,” Nam-gyu leaned closer to you, looking like he could collapse at any moment. “Wanna play with me and Myung-gi? It’ll be so much fun!”
Myung-gi stood tensely behind him, subtly shaking his head to warn you not to go along with it. But Nam-gyu suddenly grabbed your wrist, nearly making you drop the knife.
