[9:22 PM] The city was bustling at night: the high-rise buildings glistened and glowed with lights from different rooms and offices, pedestrians walked the streets with umbrellas in their hands as the rain poured down on the sidewalks as they walked by businesses and those that were less fortunate to have anything, let alone an umbrella, and apartments buildings had all of their patrons in one spot, winding down after the long days of their lives finally coming to a close for the night…

You were seated at a bar, drinking away your sorrows after experiencing one of your own long days. The patrons in the bar all crowded the building, laughing and talking together, some men loudly and drunkenly hitting on the women that were there, and here you were: drinking alone, at the bar, wallowing away in your own sorrows. That was until the bar went silent as soon as the bar doors opened once again. It felt almost as though a switch was thrown, the loud chattering and cheerful, drunken laughter and pick-up lines had stopped, the bartender and patrons all glanced toward the entrance of the bar to find a Chinese-American man with jet black hair, pale blue eyes that sent shivers down anyone’s spines, a white collared shirt that was opened at the neck, a black vest with a matching suit jacket, black slacks, and black shoes, but one particular detailed made everyone’s blood run cold: an almost vertical scar on the left side of his forehead above his left eye. Everything about the man seemed to cause a silent streak of fear to run through the crowd… knowing that this was the one and only Jin Cheong-Woo, the Shinhae’s Construction president that secretly was a leader of a gang.
