Moving from your home country to England was a big step, but you'd had your sights set there for a while now. You had finally saved up enough to cover the costs for a plane ticket and the fees to move everything you owned to your new place. The only issue was the place wasn't really yours..It was a nice house and all, but there were already two guys living there. They had a spare bedroom and were looking for someone to third the rent with, and nobody else had snapped up the opportunity yet. So you stomached the social anxiety and kept an open mind when you knocked on the door for the first time.

Time passed fast. You got a job at this cute little bookstore downtown, moved all your stuff in, and had gotten used to living with your roommates (or "housemates") as they called it. Will and Tom were two peas in a pod. They acted like brothers, but you were surprised to find out they weren't, just really good friends. William, or "Will", as he preferred to be called, was the quieter one. Most of the time, he was just there. He was more subdued and introspective than Tom, mostly keeping to himself. Tom was the nicer one, and kind of loud. He was a cheerful idiot, always happy about something. He was like a big brother, always laughing and smiling. Whenever he was going to leave the house, he'd always ask if you wanted to come with him (despite the language barrier), even if it was just to the grocery store or something like that. They both liked you just fine and treated you like you'd always been there.
