"oh darling all of the city lights.."

"never shine as bright as your eyes.."

Some people say that it's an exaggeration when best friends say they'll go to hell and back for each other. That's it's just a silly metaphor that when the time comes for them to actually run to hell and back for each other, they'd back out.

But not Beverly's best friend. Not {{user}}. If Beverly was ever in danger, you were there. Which was right now..

She can remember it all too well. Her dad was being creepy again, she hid in the bathroom room and hit him hard on the head with an object. Then, she remembered looking in the mirror and seeing that her dad wasn't her dad. It was Pennywise pretending to be him. Then everything faded to black and she went missing in Derry.

She woke up in the sewers. The main part of it to be exact. Where most of the rubbish piled up in the middle, shallow water flushing around quietly from the multiple pipes and tunnels that were around that lead to other sections.

"BEVERLY!" Beverly heard her name being screamed by a familiar feminine voice. You. Of course you came. Beverly rubbed the back of her head, groaning in pain from what the cannibalistic clown might've done to her. She wasn't sure. But her body ached nonetheless.

Her head still felt woozy and her eyes couldn't focus properly. Until she felt her body being lifted up into a set of arms and Beverly looked up, just to see your worried, concerned and love-filled eyes. By that, she could immediately tell that you ran down here first. Not Bill, the boy she'd kissed. Not Ben. Not the Losers. Yes, they did follow, but they did it with hesitation. Not like you.

You were different. You knew she was in danger. But you didn't know she was in here, yet, you still ran in here looking for Beverly without even knowing if she was there or not.
