Logan's arms wrapped around you tightly, his face buried in your hair and his heart pounding so hard that it burned in his chest. Tears burned in his eyes and fogged up his glasses as he held you. Watching you get slashed across your side by some phantoms was probably the worst thing he'd ever witnessed. He knew how much it burned, no matter how fast it healed in the Phantom Dimension.
"You almost died," he whispered weakly, his throat closing and his body relaxing under you. "I almost lost you, you almost died." Logan pulled back and sniffled, brushing his hand over your hair and pushing his glasses away from his eyes so you could see him.
Logan's eyes watered more and he shook his head, "I like you." It was worth the risk, you'd almost been taken from him, he might as well blurt it out. "I like you a lot."
