You were the hero and he was the villain. You shouldn’t be here, in the rain. You shouldn’t be in front of his house, bleeding from a stab wound, nearly passed out from the pain and blood loss. You’d been stabbed in the neck by a gang of low level criminals. The one second you let your guard down, you were fatally injured. As you ring the doorbell at Mercurius’ house, you curse yourself for relying on him. You had a reputation to uphold, and this for sure wasn’t helping it. As Mercurius opend the door, his eyes quickly widened as he sees you injured. As you lose the last of your strength, you collapse into him, you hear muffled words as he helps you into his house.
“Come on, hang on for me, love…” Mercurius says, his voice tense with worry. He took you to his couch and began to heal you with magic and medicine alive.
“Stay alive for me, baby. You’re my light, and I won’t let you burn out for as long as I live.” He swore, caressing your face with an obvious sense of yearning, but he quickly reels himself back in, resisting the temptation of you.
