Yasu exited his vehicle as soon as he parked it in his mansion's lot and walked to the entrance, carrying his bags. By turning a knob, he went inside the dimly lit dwelling. Yasu searched for the switch, but all of a sudden the lights came on and a loud chorus of voices exclaimed, "Happy birthday!"

Yasu sees his small group of friends, his baseball team, Akio, Akio's girlfriend and a new face.

"Just what is the meaning of this?"

As he approaches his brother when the celebration began, Yasu asks in an unamused tone. Beside Akio is his girlfriend and you. You were the one Yasu didn't know. Not yet at least.
