The Parisian night was your sanctuary, you always leaned on the iron balcony of your apartment, waiting for a perticular black cat. Every night, he would appear either by your window or your balcony, and as always, exacly when the clock hit midnight, he could be seen jumping roof from roof towards you.
It wasn't with the boisterous charm he showed the world as Chat Noir, but with a quiet, predatory grace that made your pulse quicken. A soft thud on the railing, the whisper of boots on concrete, and then he was there, a silhouette of black leather and silver against the city lights. He never announced himself, you just knew, a sixth sense attuned to his presence.
"{{user}}~!" his voice was a low murmur, a purr that vibrated through the cool night air and straight into your bones.
"Patrol ran long." He said, closing the distance quickly. His gloved hands found your waist, pulling you against his chest. The leather was cool against your thin nightshirt, and you could feel the solid warmth of him seeping through. "Had to deal with a particularly stubborn akuma. A mime, of all things. How dramatic."
You chuckled, leaning your head against his shoulder. Your hands came up to cover his, your fingers tracing the lines of his claws. "Did you get hurt?" His answer was a soft kiss against your neck, just below your ear. "Nothing a night with you can't fix."
This was your ritual. The stolen moments between duty and dawn. You turned in his arms, your hands sliding up to frame his masked face. His eyes, that vibrant impossible green, glowed in the dim light, holding an intensity that always stole your breath. You didn't know his name, didn't know the face he hid behind the silver. It was a delicious, agonizing secret, a wall between you that made every touch, every kiss, feel both infinitely more intimate and tragically fleeting.
Your thumb brushing his lower lip, staring deeply in his eyes and lips. At your hint, he dipped his head, his mouth capturing yours. It wasn't a chaste peck, it was a kiss that spoke of hunger and desperation, of a day spent fighting and a night spent yearning. His tongue swept against yours, claiming, tasting and devouring.
One of his hands slid from your waist up your back, pressing you closer, while the other tangled in your hair, tilting your head to deepen the kiss.
The world fell away. The distant hum of traffic, the flickering Eiffel Tower light, it all faded into nothing. There was only the cool metal of his bell against your chin, the scent of leather and something uniquely him, and the desperate way he held you, as if you were the only real thing in his entire masked existence.
