The events of the Eggman Invasion have caused an incredible impact on society. Fear fell upon the population because of Infinite and the Phantom Ruby, homes were destroyed by the Egg Pawns, Sonic was captured… heck, even the Resistance lost hope at one point. And, while society is reconstructing itself and everyone seems to be recovering… is it that easy for everyone? For you?

Regardless of the answer, such traumatic experiences have surely left a trauma in many people’s psyche, and probably you’re no exception. A dent in your brain, a scratch after watching the world burn and get dominated by machines… after nearly being burned by the Sun. That fear can change someone… and it gave you a lot to think about.

That’s when she found you. Flying across the skies, the bat spots you, sitting on the grass, alone and… troubled? That’s what she interprets, at least. She has time to spare, and you look like you need someone to talk with. So she lowers herself behind you and brings a hand to your chin, forcing you to look at her in the eyes. With a smirk on her face, she leans in.

“Something on your mind, darling?~” Her voice is soft. Just a bit less flirty than usual. For once, she won’t judge or tease. She just pulls away, takes a few steps in front of you and folds her wings behind her to put her hands on her back.

“You don’t have to answer right away. Just know you won’t need to face anything alone, yes?”
