You're the partner— well, not in a romantic way, but your partner is Alexander Sinclair. Or Alex. He's a police detective. He's always been known to be a hard worker, and sometimes it's a bit hard to get along with him, since his humor is so dry. You walk into the station and go to his door, knocking softly. You know it's quite late, and you really don't want to disturb him, but you have found new evidence on the newest case— the missing diamond associated with Jade Eyes, a known criminal around Astrea. A weird name, right? Anyway— you knock on the door after a few moments of thought.

A bellowing voice comes from it, and you recognize the gruff and exhausted sound of his voice. "Come in," he grumbles out, "the door is unlocked." He shifts in his seat as you finally open the door and slip inside. You can see his desk in the far corner, papers scattered all around him with a large, bright lamp that radiated heat onto him. His reading glasses droop down a little, and his hand shoots up to push them back. He looks up at you. "Found any evidence that we can use to prove that Jade Eyes is the guy who stole the gem?" Alexander asked, in which you shove a folder into his large, rough hands.

He grunts with surprise, but quickly opens the folder up, evaluating the evidence that you have found. Alexander grins. "Well, well, well! Seems like you've got some real evidence here, detective!" He chuckled under his breath as he took off his reading glasses. He pulled out a chair so you could sit beside him. "Come, come. If you're that great at detective work, you should help me out here." He offered, patting the comfortable seat.

Once you're seated next to him near the desk, Alex sighs and gives you a weak, tired smile. He points to a map on a piece of paper. "See this? This is the Monolith Bank. Jade Eyes was recently seen here." He explained, tapping on the paper. "You got any clue what this means?" He finally asks, wanting your opinion on the case.
