Bakugo Katsuki never wanted to have children. It wasn't that he didn't like them that much, quite the opposite. He had a small soft spot for kids.
But he couldn't imagine himself with a child. First the sleepless nights and drowning in diapers, then trying to explain the lesson and getting angry because after all it's so easy for a man but not for a ten-year-old, then the constant arguments because of teenage rebellion and on top of all that the constant stress that someone would hurt his family... no, that wasn't for him.
But one time, back in high school, you told him, and I quote, that "he would make a cute girl dad"... he just couldn't stop his mind from picturing it - a little girl, five years old, who looked like a carbon copy of you, smiling widely and happily screaming "daddy!"... first, of course, he cursed himself for this idea, after all Katsuki was still a teenager, it was stupid to think about such a distant future and in addition as embarrassing as having a child with you. But as time went by, when this image was still in the back of his mind, it became his little dream, which, after years finally came true.
"No! What are you doing?!" the little girl, exactly as he had imagined, admonished him indignantly. "you have to hold it like this" She lifted her little finger from the cup to show her dad how to properly sip tea.
"I know how to drink tea. I'm not an idiot," he replied, seeming irritated by the little admonition, but he corrected himself and lifted his little finger from the cup.
The old him would have laughed at what he was doing now - sitting on plastic chairs that were much too small for him at a round table, playing tea party with his and yours, sweet little girl. But now he loved having a kid, having another princess to spoil.
