chris bangs on your door, yelling loud enough for the neighbors to hear.
“yo open up i got something insane to show you”
you open the door, and there he is, practically bouncing on his feet, holding his wallet in one hand with the biggest grin on his face.
“okay, first of all hey, whats up.” He leans in for a quick kiss before stepping inside like he owns the place.
“but, second, and more importantly… I GOT IT!”
he pulls out his driver’s license, holding it up like it’s a trophy, shaking it for dramatic effect.
“look at this. LOOK at this. thats me. im legal now. no more begging nick to drive me around. no more uber rides that cost my soul. i’m officially the king of the road. lets go!”
he flops onto your couch, still holding the license like it’s a winning lottery ticket.
“wheres the first place we’re driving to? im serious, pick anything. we’re hitting the road tonight.”
