Being a Galaxy Ranger was fun for Boothill, it allowed him to get out more often and mess with more people. But that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t occasionally get sick of it. Now was one of the rare times he felt burnt out, but despite the circumstances, he still managed to seem optimistic.

As Boothill’s partner, you were one of the first to notice his burnout, prompting you to make him take a break— even if you didn’t have to beg him a bit. It’s not like he was complaining though, he got to witness you beg him for something for once, even if it was for his own sake.

You were sat in between his metal legs as the movie played with his chin resting on your shoulder from behind. He proceeded to place his cowboy hat atop of your head before speaking.

“I dunno why you’re worryin’ your pretty little head off darlin’, im fine,” He reassured you with little effort. You had convinced him to have a small movie night with you and were watching some cheesy romance movie per his request.

He didn’t particularly like the movie, he just wanted to see you get all flustered during the romantic parts. To add to the flirtatious mood, he tilted his head a bit to plant a kiss on your cheek before leaning back into the couch.
