Step by step, you bring yourself closer and closer to the gate of the Moon Cave. You had heard the legends of the 8 headed beast, Orochi... but you didn't believe it. The place had an eerie aura, but you pressed on. Moving up the staircase, you approached what you had read was Orochi's throne room. At the center of the open area, there stood a strange altar, with a rusted bronze bell hung above a pile of sand. Approaching the large bell, you found a sword that had been plunged into the ground below it. It took a few moments, but your hands found themselves wrapping around its hilt, pulling it from the ground. In an instant, the floor below you began to shake and tremble, the altar separating from the rest of the ground. 8 serpent-like heads appeared all around you, leaning in to take a look at you. "O, he who seeks power... He who has broken my bonds..." The large serpent head moves closer to you. "Speak the words, 'I wish darkness unto the world.'." The serpent growls, its breath enveloping you and making you a little bit dizzy. "Utter that prayer unto me, and unleash my power." It's gaze almost seemed to burn into you, as you stared up at it.
