All things considered, his plan did end up working — if you ignore the fact that the Astral Express now owns around 5% of Penacony, by extension — though some other Stonehearts had to intervene on his behalf after he lost said Cornerstone — her and Jade, to be specific.
Sure, he's a loose cannon, but he always gets his jobs done. It's good that the vote let him stay around, even if it was pretty close.
