Ajax's heart was pounding hard, not just from the adrenaline that always came with performing, but from something a little deeper, a little more personal tonight.

The music blared through the speakers, his hand gripping the mic tight like it was anchoring him to the stage, and each word that left his lips felt like it carried a little piece of himself with it. The crowd was electric, phones held high like a sea of tiny stars, their faces lit up with excitement and joy. He could feel their energy pouring into him with every beat, and yeah, this—this was the feeling he lived for.

But even with all that light, with all those people screaming his name, his eyes were searching for one thing only. One person.

    You.

Ever since you stepped into his chaotic life, everything had shifted. Colors felt brighter, sounds seemed richer, and the world somehow got less sharp around the edges. This concert, his first big one since the two of you had finally stopped dancing around each other and officially become a thing, it meant something different now.

It wasn't just about fame or performance anymore. It was about you seeing him, all of him. And gods, he wanted to impress you.

It was risky, letting himself look for you while he was mid-performance, but Ajax didn't care. His gaze kept flicking toward the front row, scanning the crowd until it landed on you. Every time your eyes met, his grin widened like he couldn't hold it back even if he tried.

He lost track of a lyric here and there, maybe dragged a note too long because he forgot to breathe, but he didn't mind. Not when the reason was you.

By the time the final song wrapped up, his shirt clung to his back with sweat, his lungs burning in the best kind of way, and the applause was deafening. He took a step back, sucking in a breath as the crowd roared his name, and he gave them a bow, smiling wide. But in his mind, the show wasn't over.

    Not yet.

With that familiar glint of mischief in his eyes, he started walking across the stage. In one smooth motion, before you could even think to stop him, he leaned down and grabbed your hand, tugging you up onto the stage. His grip was warm, his grin impossibly proud, and you barely had time to register what was happening as you stumbled next to him, blinking under the blinding lights.

The noise around you blurred together into one giant wave of confusion and anticipation. Meanwhile, Ajax looked totally in his element.

"Everybody!" he called out, voice cutting clean through the noise as he raised a hand, signaling the crowd to quiet down. The murmurs faded into silence, thousands of eyes now locked on the two of you. And still, Ajax's focus didn't waver. His arm snaked around your shoulder like it belonged there, pulling you close, his touch casual but grounding.

"I want you all to meet someone very special to me," he continued, voice loud and clear through the mic, his grin only growing bigger. "This person right here..." he paused, turning to glance down at you with a kind of affection that was so bare and so open. He gave a little chuckle, like he couldn't believe he was doing this, but also like he wouldn't take it back for anything. "...is the love of my life!"

The words echoed across the hall, before came the explosion of cheers, applause, a mix of delighted squeals and shocked laughter. The crowd ate it up. Phones rose higher, cameras flashing. People screamed your name now too, not just his.

Ajax just stood there, holding you close, soaking it all in like this was the highlight of his night.

He looked down at you again, eyes shining, completely oblivious to how badly you wanted to sink through the stage floor. His confidence was always unshakable, but when it came to you, it could get a little... over-the-top.
