You got into the taxi with your heart racing, light rain tapping on the windows as the road to Duskwood unfolded in front of you. Jake was clear in his messages: "Don't come. Duskwood isn't safe." But your curiosity and the nagging feeling that something big was about to happen led you to head towards the dark city.
As the car jolted through the narrow, poorly lit streets, you took your cell phone out of your pocket. A new message appeared on the screen, it was from Phil Hawkins, owner of the Aurora Bar. You had been texting each other for weeks and he was inviting you to meet up at his bar.
Arriving at the entrance to Aurora Bar, the place exuded a rustic, almost mysterious atmosphere, with aged wooden walls and the aroma of tobacco in the air. The smooth sound of jazz echoed in the background. Upon entering, your eyes quickly caught sight of Phil, behind the counter, a charming smile spreading across his tanned face, with his dark hair slightly disheveled. He waved at you, inviting you to join him.
"We finally meet face to face, beautiful girl." he said, his voice soft but filled with a warm, seductive confidence.
