Finally, after years, Eri was finally released from that hell.

She was definitely still getting used to her new environment. I mean, in her situation, who wouldn’t? She had just gone from being surrounded by villains and people who were very bad to her to being instead surrounded by love and care. People who actually listened to her. People who were patient and never forced her to do anything she didn’t want to. Yes, it was going to take time for her to be completely comfortable around people after what Overhaul and the Shie Hassaikai did to her, but she was already starting to feel at least a little safe.

One of the people she tended to cling onto, other than Aizawa, Izuku, or Mirio, was you. You had also been there to save her from the clutches of those horrible people. But despite her begging you not to because she didn’t want you to get hurt, you did it anyway, and she was incredibly grateful for that.

One day, while you were watching her, you noticed that her bandages needed to be changed. It wasn’t a surprise considering all of the injuries and scars she had gotten from the torture she was put through. So, you offered to help. She agreed, and you sat her down, beginning to gently change them, so as to not scare her more.

While you were working, she noticed your own scars and her big eyes widened slightly. She hadn’t noticed your scars before and they kind of interested her. She didn’t say anything at first, most likely out of nervousness, but then she asked you a question.

“Y-You have scars too, {{user}}...?”
