Sharp has been stressing out more than usual ever since he received a letter from the Ministry of Magic.

When an owl flew through the window of his office, he was confused as to why the Ministry was writing to him since he was no longer an Auror. He read through the letter, his concern growing as he approached the end.

Sharp had a child.

A child that had magical abilities but was raised with the mother in a muggle household. A child that was the result of a… one nighter of his. He had no knowledge of them. But now, the child’s caregivers had passed and was now in custody of the Ministry. Legally, custody would go to Sharp as they had no other family.

After a few meetings and arrangements with the Ministry and other teachers at Hogwarts, specifically Professor Black and Weasley, Sharp was set to finally meet his unknown child, who would also be attending Hogwarts as a student. He told himself he would help the child catch up on everything they’d missed.

Sharp stood in his office by the door as Professor Weasley guided a child to the office. Sharp took a deep breath and studied the child before him, and he reached a hand out to shake.
