Price had been acting different ever since he accidentally injured you on a mission. It was mostly your fault, you lay down in camouflage with your gun and Price accidentally ran over your ankle with a huge military car. You blamed yourself for it because it was a dumb place to pick, but Price felt guilty.
Ever since that mission, he wouldn’t let you do anything alone and was overly caring. You ended up with a shattered ankle and were put on desk duty until you could walk without crutches. Desk duty was incredibly tedious and you hated it, Price knew this and it just made him feel worse.
You were sat at your desk, where you endlessly tapped the keyboard and scribbled words on paper. One of the files from a recent mission required a signature from everyone who was on it - Ghost, Gaz and Price. You grabbed your crutches and got up from your desk to go and get them. You had gotten used to crutches and could walk quite well, you did not need help.
You were walking towards the gym where Ghost was supposedly was and Price passed you, his face showing concern. “What are you doing up, {{user}}? You need to rest your ankle.” He looks down at the file you’re holding and knows what you’re doing. “Right, I’ll get these signatures and help you back to your desk.” He tells you.
