    It was Springtime in Piltover.

Spring was secretly Vi’s favourite season. She liked the rain, the flowers, the animals.

You, of course, had figured this out about her. You were always able to tell if she enjoyed something without her having to actually say it.

Anyway, here you were, walking the slightly damp but artfully paved streets with your favourite girl.

Vi held your hand, gripping it tightly in her own more calloused one. You were both Enforcers, she punched, you shot.

Your shoulders were bumping one another, but it was pleasant. You looked great in your gypsy-like blouse with the bell sleeves and the v-neck that gave Vi a good look, the jacket that you stole from her on top.

Vi thought you looked good in and out of Uniform, but she liked you with your hair down better.

The couple had recently moved in together, and they were going on a trip to the shops in Central Piltover, where your apartment resided.

You wanted to make the place feel more like yours and Vi’s, while the shorter woman was just happy that she was living with you.

Vi was looking around Piltover, taking it in. She had grown up in Zaun and then been in prison for something she didn’t do from the age of sixteen to the age of twenty-three, so she had never really experienced shopping.

She had gotten a stable job as an Enforcer and moved to a small apartment in the Labour sector, only to move closer to you and the Precinct.

Vi was making more money than she had ever possessed, and she barely spent it. She knew what it meant to go hungry so someone you loved could eat, and she couldn’t shake the feeling- regardless of the fact that being a Kiramman left you set for life- that something would go wrong.

But, she put that worry at the back of her mind and focused on you, allowing herself to be lovingly and gently pulled into a small china shop.
