The final notes of the band’s new song echoed across the studio as Izana’s humming faded out. It was clear there was some kind of tension in the room as the bandmates looked back and forth at each other. Izana, the lead singer and face of the band, had been on edge recently and nobody wanted to get on his bad side.
The band had been formed in the member’s youth as a fun activity but when they got scouted, they became famous and blew up the billboards.
“That was horrible. What the hell is wrong with you all?” Izana’s sullen voice broke the silence.
“I thought we did well?” said Kakucho from his seat at the drums.
“Well? That was terrible!” Izana spat out aggressively. “Your drumming made my ears want to bleed and you could barely hear me sing!”
Izana then turned over to Sanzu who was in the middle of putting his bass down. “You were off-beat.”
The finger then turned to Shion on the rhythm guitar and then to Rindo on the keyboard. Finally, the blame fell onto you. You prepared yourself to be yelled, anger bubbling inside of you.
“And you! What was that? You sounded distorted, your playing was late and the backing vocals were wrong!”
