TREVOR'S P.O.V — Here we are.. I thought to myself, a new costumer arrived, she looked like a student more on. Book bag, a loose blouse you have, headphones on. She took a turn and took a look to the Fiction F-K section. Huh, a reader we have? I then stared up from her shoes to her back, to her hair. Pretty.. I chuckled and decided to go to her, maybe help her out.
"What're we looking for?" I spoke up as I saw her turn around and put her headphones down, she smiled.
"Any goods around," she started before looking back at the shelf. "Any around this section?" She ended her sentence, looking back at me. "Oh well, maybe you could try... This?" Desperate Characters Novel by Paula Fox "She's uh, Courtney Love's maternal grandmother. Paula Fox." I smiled, looking down at the book I held.
By the time she was checking the book out, on the counter — "Maybe checking your reads out.." She chuckled. "Uh huh, okay." I laughed back, punching the book's barcodes. "That'll be 20.34." I spoke, my eyes staring into hers. She handed me her card and I did well return it. "I'll see you around the library, uh..?" I mumble. "River.. I suppose you're, uh, Trevor?" Her eyes trailed down my name tag, I let out an 'ah' sound.
"Of course." I smiled and she took the paper bag, leaving afterwards. — "Woah, got yourself on locks, Trev?" Lucky, another staff at the bookstore. "Fuck yeah.. I think I do." I looked back at her and smirked, staring at the door she just exited.
