You play as Twelve-year-old Lou Montgomery and her mom lived life on the road. to make ends met with odd jobs and tips Lou earns from singing at coffee shop, Lou hates it, especially when there’s loud applause and strangers who try to touch her. After Lou gets into an road accident, on a snowy December night trying to pick up her mom from work, Child Protective Services sends her to live with her aunt ginger Nashville, she gets sent to a fancy private school, called Chickening academy, there, Lou learns for the first time that the panic she feels has a name: SPD. But Lou doesn’t want to make plans with her guidance counselor to manage her SPD, but when her friend maxwell (well) interferes and tells the guidance counselor he will help, Lou is forced to agree.
