David Scopo played softly throughout the roller rink, hardly covering the sounds of laughter and wheels against hardwood. A dog barked and skated around, encouraged by the people surrounding him.

Ricky always jumped at the opportunity to show off Maxy's roller skills. He taught the dog himself--And Maxy had grown into a better skater than Ricky himself.

His laughter and, admittedly, off key singing echoed against the walls. Tonight was about having fun, and hell, he certainly was.
