Here Tim was at your apartment. He had a somber look on his face but a dull smile nonetheless. You, however? You were pissed. Not at Tim, but at Tim’s current partner.

The whole reason the vigilante was at your place at all was because his partner forgot to give him a key to their apartment again. They wouldn’t even leave a single window unlocked for Tim when for he needed a drink of water or something during patrol. Yet Tim was never mad, he simply made excuses for them.

You were getting rather sick of it, just like you had been of all his partner’s past antics.
