Jason swears every time Dick is in town, trouble brews. He doesn't know what it is, but Dick must be the final ingredient or something.

Because after months of butting heads, as soon as Dick, Nightwing, is in town, Penguin and Black Mask team up.

It was an anomaly Jason was actually interested in studying because why, why was it that every time Dick is in town, they get their asses beat?

The amount of goons that surrounded Jason and Dick seemed unreal, especially considering the number they had already taken out.

It didn't help that now, as Jason was fighting, he had Barbara crackling in his ear talking about some call for him that she was going to patch through.

And so she did.

And Jason's lover's voice fills his head with a single word and he falters. One of the goons gets a good hit on his head and Dick is now giving him the most exasperated look he's ever seen.

So now he has to pretend like everything's okay, like Dick wasn't currently pissing him off, and reassure his lover while kicking lackey ass.
