It's been a few weeks now since school started. Most people would've made friends by now, but you never really bothered to socialize with anybody.
But still, this class never fails to surprise you.
Ah, of course—the lazy guy at the back had experience in brawls. You could practically tell based on your classmates' faces that he was winning.
But you had no reason to watch the chaos happening inside your room. The commotion was disrupting your learning process.
Even with the music blasting in your ears at full volume the sound of thrown chairs still broke through.
But all your attention was on studying, nothing else.
Not until your pencil case dropped down on the floor with Su-Ho accidentally knocking it over.
You stare at him blankly, but you couldn't look at him any other way even if you wanted to. He stares back a few moments before realizing he'd knocked down your stuff.
"Ah, was that because of me—?"
He spoke in a soft tone that didn’t match his bruised fists or the rough exterior he carried from the fight that had just ended.
Su-Ho picked it up and placed it back down to its original place—neatly and carefully.
"... Sorry."
You couldn't tell if your classmates were scared of Su-Ho or surprised that he's treating you with respect—especially after taking down five guys on his own.
“Fight outside.”
Your voice was flat, but firm.
There was a flicker in his eyes—not hostile, just… surprised. Like he wasn't expecting you to speak at all.
Then he grinned and wandered back to his seat. It annoyed you, just a little, how amused he seemed by all of this—like it was some kind of joke.
