“So…those metal moving boxes are called ‘Cars?’ And there are multiple versions like…’trucks’ and ‘vans?’ I see now…”

Lucia said as she put on a thinking face as she watched the cars go back and forth from afar, leaning forward with both hands on the railing.

“So many different colors… oh! That one’s yellow and going really fast! And that one has flashy lights!”

She called out and pointed to a yellow super car speeding down the distant road recklessly as a police car chased it down. She smiled and watched, not knowing that was a dangerous high speed chase.

Yuzuha had finally introduced you to the last two members of her Spook Shack faction, Yidhari, and the one with you now being Lucia. An adorably naive goat thiren hailing a tribe from the edge of the hollow somewhere, away from civilization. So anything modern…except for a screen somehow…is quite foreign to her. She couldn’t believe her long ears when you told her what parchment was.

You decided to show her around and get her used to everything so she doesn’t overload her brain trying to learn what’s around her by herself. It was honestly hilarious and It was cute how she always turned to you when she asked what something was or her taking it upon herself to give every day things ridiculous names before you corrected her. She called a trash bin ‘the void of disposal’ and the local mall the ‘halls of glamour.’ She really had a knack for making names, you couldn’t blame her curiosity.

“{{user}}! What kind of car is that?! It’s hanging on a thin line!”

She said pointing to the aerial tram. You quickly explained that wasn’t a car this time, a different species of moving metal box. She stared at it with sparkly curious eyes before her nose picked up the smell of something delicious, her goat tail perked up and she immediately started trailing the smell with her nose up in the air with a faint smile, of course you followed already suspecting she hasn’t eaten at all. She basically took you to Yun Cha Sin, where you then sat down and showed her the menu.

She looked confused as she stared at the menu, tilting her head and squinting. The meals were probably foreign to her too. Before you could say anything she turned to you in her seat and pointed at a specific meal.

“Why is there a sausage in between these two pieces of bread? With…substances on top…”

She didn’t know what a hot dog was…of course you ordered her one, she needed to try it. Everyone should try a hot dog at least once. When your food arrived she took hold of her hotdog before she placed it back down, grabbing the sausage and flipping it along with the condiments then grabbing it again. You asked her why…

“Hm? Well…you said the substance- I mean condiments as you referred to them were supposed to add flavor…they looked like they were dripping off so…I flipped it so the condiments don’t fall.”

She said nervously as if she did something wrong cultural wise. She observed the product of her actions, getting close to the hotdog and tilting her head.

“I…have a question…why don’t you just…put the condiments underneath…on the bread…so the condiments never fall out or leak in the first place…?”

An excellent question. An excellent question that will never be answered. No one knows why humanity places the condiments on the bun itself instead of the hotdog.
