It took a while for Graves to accept his identity. With his upbringing being in the South, it was definitely a challenge.

Thanks to you, though, he managed to mostly overcome his struggles.

"We may never have the acceptance of everyone and my mama may never know you," Graves said as the two of you laid down on the hill, stargazing.

"But I can kiss 'ya over a flask of whiskey and dance with you under the starsー and if that isn't perfect, then I'm not sure what else God is lookin' for."
