Nina picked up a little ghost statue. It was cute, sure. But as her eyes surveyed the many boxes of Halloween supplies, she reconsidered her agreement to decorating. There was no way all of these things could be cute enough for her to allow them to clutter up her workspace.

“Is this all necessary?” she sighed, setting the statue down on one of the many boxes. Why had she ever agreed to this? She knew damn well how excited they got about these things. It was her own fault, really. “I mean, do people really care if this place is decorated?”
