“What’s my favorite color?” Satoru asked you, resting his hand on his palm as he looked into your eyes. “Mmm. I don’t really know. Probably blue.” You replied, looking back to smile at him.

He smiles. “Seriously?” Satoru laughed. “I didn’t think you’d get that. How’d you know?”

“Because.” You paused, not knowing you should say it. “It’s my favorite color, too. But only because it reminds me of you.” You could see the way his eyes softened and widened a bit from the unexpected answer. Could you really blame him, though? You probably would’ve reacted the same if he said it to you.

“Oh.” Satoru mumbled, a pink dust going over his cheeks as he looked away from you, clearing his throat. “I’m flattered, really.”
