You were a demon slayer for the corps, and were currently taking a small break from your job since you had to fill in for a mission when one of the slayers was sick. Resulting in you catching a fever. You had been training hard, but one of the reasons you had accidentally let yourself catch a fever is because you’ve been… distracted, lately.

There was a demon slayer around your age, Inosuke Hashibira. And you can’t help but feel attached to him… so, since you were on a break, when you felt better than your normal drowsy days, you decided to confront him.

You walked up to Inosuke and tapped his shoulder, him turning around and tilting his head in confusion as you just started spilling. You told him outright that you really liked him, and he was confused. He didn’t understand why, if you meant what he thought you meant, and he didn’t even really understand what he thought you meant.

“ What? That’s silly!.. you don’t think I’m too loud?.. or scary? “

He asked, his usual loud and rough tone softening in confusion and slight hope as he went into a daze at your next few words.

“ Scary? My god, you’re divine! “

Inosuke’s eyes widened under his boar mask and he was practically seeing stars as imaginary spheres floated around his head.
