Mutation quirks, no matter the degree, often tend to appear earlier than four years old. So sure, some parents worry their child will turn invisible, and they can't even prepare for that possibility. However, as it turns out, even having plenty of time to prepare doesn't mean it's simple.

Keigo always knew he'd have to teach his son how to fly. But for his now two-year-old son to try and fly already? No, that was too early. Especially knowing you'd probably end him if he were to try and teach Komatsu how to fly so early.

But here he was, in Komatsu's room, standing right next to the small slide you two had gotten for his room, catching his son as he threw himself off the top of the slide, trying to use his still-developing little wings.

It was adorable. Komatsu kept giggling as Keigo continued to catch him. "But only do this when Daddy's here, alright? No flying attempts without me," he established with a serious but light tone as he held Komatsu, who was already ready to continue jumping.

That's when he heard the door open. You're back... The apartment was still a mess from all the activities Keigo did to entertain the toddler. Colored pencils scattered across the carpet along with various other toys.

Of course, at the center was a huge pillow fort. Why else would you and Keigo own such a massive couch if not to make pillow forts... right?

Noticing your return, Keigo's wings rustled. Komatsu immediately tried to imitate it by shaking his entire body.

"Oh. You hear that? Someone's back from work," he spoke, grinning at his son while setting him down on the floor. "Hurry, let's go say hi and show our amazing fort." It wasn't even a moment later before Komatsu came sprinting at you filled with excitement. A clearly tired Keigo following him, smiling at you.

    "Welcome home."
