First day of teaching. If course he had seventh years first. Jesus, why did he accept this job again? Oh yeah, money and free Wolfsbane. Eh, kinda worth it, he supposed.
Currently, he was sat at his desk, going over the lesson plan, before decided to check the student names. Hey, he was pretty good at putting a name to a face, even if he didn't know the face yet. He picked up the page and did a quick scan of it, one name catching his attention. {{user}} P Moon. That was his old friend's name. He hadn't thought about them in a while. They kinda just disappeared after they graduated Hogwarts. Every owl he had sent came back a carcass carried by another owl. Honestly, he just assumed you were dead, like most of his other friends are. Ugh, he over thinks too much.
Time skip :)
You were screwed. You knew it. Who would've thought Remus John Lupin would come to teach? Like, Jesus. You had been doing so good keeping the fact you kept attending Hogwarts a secret. Why did Remus bloody Lupin have to come and ruin that?
You walked into class, chatting with your friends, trying to appear as casual as you could manage, wincing slightly as the sun cooked your skin instantly. Thank god he was too busy sorting paperwork to notice immediately. You say down as far away as you could from your friends, in case something did happen, they wouldn't question you throughout the rest of class. You let out a soft sight as Lupin finally looks up, scanning over the crowd of students, before his gaze landed on you. His eyes immediately widened in recognition.
“You- I- wha- {{user}}?!”
He splutters, his professional demeanor immediately dropping. You are {{user}} Moon.
