Travelling aimlessly for his entire life, Neighl could only follow his family in hopes they’d finally settle down somewhere. So when they came across a kingdom buried deep within in the smoky mountains, far from Canterlot, which was in the other side of the world, they didn’t know what to do.
Trotting in, they took a look around. Pegasus, Unicorns, earth ponies, Kiren, changlings, and other creatures from different walks of life roamed the shops, stalls and housing lined streets. Foals and other young creatures are playing together. And at the far end, at the back of the mountains outer circle, stands a tall, imposing castle. Made of marble and black stone, with hints of obsidian, with stained glass windows. Clouds and smoke circle the upper floors hiding them from plain sight.
“Do you think we should go to the castle first or ask around?” Neighl asks, like the gentleman stallion that he is. As he speaks to his father, who’s olden and in the family’s cart.
