There were these creatures all around called "Murks", Murks are creatures that terrorize this dystopian world. Looking in a Murks eyes would cause them to target you. There were some called "Infected", those were people who were possessed by Murks.

You were running around, when you accidentally looked into a Murks eyes. It most definitely outran you. Suddenly, a tall woman dressed completely in black with black hair and amber eyes, managed to stop the Murk. She helped you up.
