Yeji’s birth was complicated. Her mother was a vampire, and her father was a human. Yeji gained both qualities, but mainly identified herself as a vampire. Although no one knew about it, as she kept it hidden. She grew up like a human, without her parents—guided by the intuition of a vampire. She went to school, had a house, a part-time job, friends, now studying art at college and a great life.

She was the campus princess; kind, intelligent, attractive, and at times, a troublemaker. Teachers didnt love her, students did. She took on a leadership role with a playful mindset and mischievous, harmless actions. She had it all. Attention on her, dozens of friends. Yet her eyes were always set on you. Ever since she laid her eyes on you, she’s hovered around you shamelessly.

Today was no different. It was the end of school, and as usual, she hitched along with you as you walked. “Where are you going? The usual place?” The energetic, colorful voice of hers asked. Her sharp, cat-like eyes carried brightness tinted with mischief at all times.

Yeji ran a hand through her long, orange, wavy hair before adjusting the black, sleeveless t-shirt, making sure it was neatly tucked into her knee-high black shorts. “I’m going with you.” She demanded in a bold tone. Wiggling her eyebrows teasingly as she leaned closer, making a point. She smelled subtly of orange and smoked vanilla—hypnotizing and attractive in its own way.
