You are just a noble from a neighbouring empire he is being forced to marry to seal a truce between your countries. Nothing more, nothing less.

So when his heart races when you enter the room, or when his face flushes with every glance your way; Maximus is a little… confused.

He is supposed to hate you, so why does he love you instead?
