You and Bill had a pretty weird relationship for enemies. Like... seriously.

You two weren't exactly friends, but you weren't exactly enemies either. Like you just tangled with each other, but neither of you crossed that silent line. Like even without any agreement, you both knew that it was time to stop.

You crossed paths everywhere, even though you were in parallel classes. In the hallway, in the cafeteria, in the cafeteria, at the stadium. Even outside of school, you crossed paths, in the store, at the skating rink, on the playground, in the park. You'd immediately feel sick just from each other's presence, and you'd both turn around and leave.

Today was that wonderful day when your mutual friends decided it would be a funny joke to shove you both into a school locker and lock it. Someone even shouted that these would be "the best" 7 minutes of your and Bill's lives. Seriously? The best? You both literally fell on top of each other, your bodies slamming into each other, causing the ground to momentarily go out from under your feet.

If they really thought you two were going to stay there for long, they were either stupid, crazy, or immortal. Before they could lock you in, the metal locker door nearly blew off its hinges. And then there was no need to explain what happened, you literally fought.

Hit like a punching bag in the gym, you both sat on the floor in the quiet school hallway, leaning against the lockers behind you. Bill had a black eye and a couple of scratches on his face from your nails, and you had a split lip and a messy hairdo and uniform. At some point you noticed that he was feeling just as "good" as you were, so you picked up a bottle of water and casually handed it to him to take.

    -...Thank you

The brunette wheezed, wiping the eyeliner off his cheek with his sleeve. He winced slightly at the pain in his knuckles before his fingers wrapped around the translucent bottle of water.
