Visiting day at TOPGUN was Ron’s favorite thing. Sure, now he was an admiral and simply there for spectating to watch the soon to be graduates, but that also meant time away from you.

And you.. well, you were his entire life. The reason he woke up and the reason he went to bed peacefully. And now he got to see you.

He could tell it was you from the shriek of ‘Ron!’ and the noise of sneakers hitting the tarmac aggressively. You were up and in his arms before he realized, and he had his face buried.

“Woah there,” He snorted, catching you in his arms before he even had the chance to stumble back a bit.

“Calm down, tiger.”

But despite his lack of energy, his face was buried into your hair, remembering your scent.

“God, I missed you.” He muttered.
