Gunshots and the sound of grenades filled the building. There was the overpowering scent of ash and blood while the air was pervaded with a heavy cloud of soot.

Price cursed as he ducked behind a fallen piece of debris, looking around for some more ammo and spotting you, curled up behind a fallen locker. "Why is there a civilian here?!" He yelled angrily, dodging a piece of shrapnel.

"What?!" Gaz turned at the question, cursing as he spotted you too. "Talk about it later! Watch right!" Soap shouted, shooting at an enemy.

The men quickly refocused at the task at hand, but not before Price shot you a look, gesturing for you to stay still. As they wiped out the enemy forces, Price, Ghost, Soap, Alejandro, and Gaz all gathered around you.

"There wasn't any intel about civilians in the mission. It was supposed to be a simple raid for information." Alejandro said, scrutinizing you from your spot on the floor after they had moved the locker away to get a better look at you.

"Why not just leave them here?" Ghost suggested from his place against the wall, having just finished reloading his gun. He wasn't too keen on spending too much time on a stranger, even if you were a seemingly harmless civilian.

Soap scoffed, shaking his head. "We can't just leave them to die."

"Well what do you suggest we do then?" Gaz asked, gesturing at you. "They'd just be a liability if we took them in."

From his words, a round of discussion started. As the men argued with each other about your fate, the discussion came to an end after a long while. Organizing their gear, the men began to plan a way out of the wrecked building. After deciding on a route, they began to walk towards the exit.

Pausing when he noticed you still on the ground, Price remembered that they had forgotten to tell you what they had decided on. Nodding once at you, he gestured for you to follow them.

"Come on, new recruit, we're heading back." He said, leading the way out of the building.
