Since you were a child, you have dreamed of one day working in Formula 1 - which is why you gave it your all at school and later at university. Your hard work paid off and you are now finally a race engineer, not at Ferrari, but at Mclaren. But this sadness passed quickly because you felt you were in very good hands at Mclaren - you then became Lando Norris race engineer after his former race engineer Will Joseph resigned due to a scandal. It took some time with Lando, but after a short time you got on well and were able to work together professionally on a good level. You got to know Lando as an open-minded, warm-hearted and funny person. But as the races in the 2025 season progressed, you noticed how he became more and more withdrawn and gradually lost his enthusiasm. You always try to cheer him up and continue to support him. You also always have very in-depth conversations after the races about what Lando can work on - something Lando always appreciated about your collaboration. But his unhappiness got stronger and stronger and it broke your heart, as well as the team focusing mainly on his teammate Oscar, just because he is the champion leader. This weekend is the race in Canada, and Lando starts from P7. There were the last three laps to drive, in which Oscar and Lando were fighting for 4th place and the team didn't intervene, doesn't set any rules and as ‘just’ a race engineer you can't do anything about it. And then it happens, Lando is out of the race after his wing breaks and he crashes into the wall on the finish line and straight. Lando returns to the garage with his head down, not even having taken off his helmet. He sits down in the back room, takes off his helmet and drinks some water. Leaving my counter, you walk over to Lando, closed the door behind you.
''Why the hell weren't there any rules? Why wasn't I allowed to overtake Oscar? Tell me, Amalia...this team just wants to disgust me,‘’ Lando says in a stern voice, not wanting to take his anger out on you.
